Hello All,
Today I had my second water aerobics class at a friend's home. It seemed pretty easy while I was doing the moves in the water, but this evening I am sore! My knees hurt, my elbows hurt, and I'm a bit stiff. My body is letting me know that I have to get more exercise. So, I'm setting a goal. Walk three miles three times a week.
Tomorrow evening, Mrs. Greenbaum and two music teachers will join the Chauncey family for a BBQ. My son will have an opportunity to learn more about the music education program at Potsdam's Crane School of Music. I'm looking forward to Mrs. Greenbaum's desserts!
Many hugs,
Mrs. Chauncey

Hello Everyone,
I've been quite busy. It is hot in my office -- the air conditioning never cools off this room. I have a little challenge to share with you. Click the link and give the Setting Crossword Puzzle a try. Let me know if you were able to fill it in.
On Saturday, July 14th we will be going on vacation for two weeks. I will try to find a computer with an internet connection. If I don't respond to your writing or share your entries quickly, just keep writing and I'll catch up as soon as I find a computer!

Hello Everyone,
I hope you had an enjoyable 4th of July with your families and friends. The rain hit before we could have our BBQ on the deck, so I ended up making baked ziti instead. Tomorrow morning I will take my son, Charlie, to visit Nyack College. If you click the link, you will see a map of the campus. It is the first college we will visit this summer. Keep on writing. I love reading your entries.
Hugs, Mrs. Chauncey
Hi Everyone,
I'm taking my daughter and her friend to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 tonight.
Well the movie was just "crazy" from my point of view. I did not see the first two "Pirate" movies, so I was probably confused as I didn't really understand the "plot". But I sat back and just let the action carry me! I have to admit, there was too much violence for my taste -- even though they threw humor in to lighten things up a bit.
I am a Johnny Depp fan. So that made it all worth it!
Hugs,
Mrs. Chauncey
Hello Everyone,
Today my family enjoyed a high school graduation party for a dear friend's son. It was a cool evening. We sat on the deck reminiscing about the days when our children were babies. We all moved into the same neighborhood about twenty five years ago, and we've been friends ever since. We've been through some happy times and some sad times together. I hope all of you are taking care of your friends. Below you will see a picture from one of our neighborhood block parties. Many hugs, Mrs. Chauncey
Take a look at this video. It is so cool! We'll have to show Mrs. Geertz. Scroll down to see the full screen.

Hello All,
When I see something beautiful, I enjoy sharing. This link will take you to the journal of an artist, June Parish Cookson, who visited British Columbia.
"This gallery showcases fifteen illustrations depicting my trip to Victoria, British Columbia. Offering a short summary with each image, they're rendered using ink and colored pencils."
Just click on the links at the top - Next, Previous to read her journal. She wrote and sketched the journal in a one of those little black "Moleskin" journals that Mrs. Chauncey carries around in her purse! She scanned her journal and added the pages to her blog to share with the world. Aren't the pictures and writing wonderful!
Hugs, Mrs. Chauncey
