I went to Rye Playland with my church. It was fun. My group and I went on the big dragon ride.It was a little bit scary but I liked it. We went on the twister. We went on two water slides. One was really fun. It was the big one. When you go on it, the chairs don't stop. You have to hop in and hop out. The little ride was fun. If you were near the fins, you get soaking wet.

The six-week library program is finished. I just came back from the mystery bash at the library. Now I only have one more month until school. I cannot wait until school starts.

In 10 days, I am going to the Bahamas for my birthday and for a little fun! There will be ice skating, golf, swimming, snorkeling and most exciting is that I am going to be in a different country! My dad will be taking me to bakeries to taste different kinds of breads or cookies, so I can't full up! Every night might be my birthday because the point of coming is that it is going to be my birthday. There will be amazing food to eat. Some days we will just be cruising and other days I will be touring the country. There is so much stuff that I can see. It could be the best vacation yet! I can't wait until next time.

Did you know that Haiti shares the same island with the Dominican Republic? The island is divided. Haiti has a smaller piece of the island.
I like Haiti because it's very hot and the people there are nice when you deserve it. The food there is banging. The houses are really big, especially my house. My house is white and very, very big. That why I love my country so munch!!
This summer I went to my Aunt's house, to the pool, to the library, and to Six Flags. The rides at Six Flags were awesome.

Every week I go to the library. The first week I went to the library I chose books about other cultures. I chose five. On the second week, I got to choose books about animals. I read one about African Elephants. It was very interesting. I chose eight books. I really liked them. I also got six book dollars. I read all eight books in three days. I could have done it in two days but I did not feel like it. I am already going to my third week. HAVE FUN !

On Sunday, I went to a party in a park at White Plains. The party was for a girl named Rosa. She turned one and had a Dora theme. We played baseball, dominoes, and on the jungle gym. It was so much fun. The cake was so good. My favorite parts were watching people playing baseball and having the cake.

This summer I'm moving into a new room in my house because my brother is moving out and my sister is taking his room. I'm taking my sister's room and best of all I get to have her bed. She's buying a new one. Every night I’ll get to pick which bed I want to sleep in. I will get to paint the walls bright colors. I'm going to go to Home Depot to get the colors. My brother is going to live in a two house apartment. I can't wait to see my brother's new apartment. By the way, my brother's name is Danny. The apartment is about an hour away from my house. * The Dominican Republic is located east of Haiti. D.R. is also very hot. There are many animals in the Dominican Republic. A couple of animals that you don't usually see in New York are iguanas, monkeys, pecan, and other tropical animals. The Dominican Republic also has very beautiful, big hotels. There are some in almost every city. The one that I go to on vacation is called Hamaca Coral. It's located in Boca Chica. The Dominican Republic is nice. They have the most juicy coconuts and beautiful palm trees. The best part of the Dominican Republic is the food, the candy, and deserts. They are all delicious.
* The Dominican flag has the colors red, white, and blue. The white cross divides the colors. There are four squares. In the squares are the colors red and blue.
* The emblem is similar to the flag design and shows a bible, a cross of gold, 4 Dominican flags and 2 spears on the pattern of the flag. There are branches of olive and palm around the shield, and above on a ribbon is the motto "Dios, Patria, Liberated" meaning "God, Fatherland, Liberty." Below the shield is another ribbon bearing the name of the country "Republica Dominicana".

Do you know that in Dominican Republic there is no internet? There are no hotels. You have to stay in houses. I will not be able to write you for five days when I am there. Are you going to go on vacation this year? Did you know I am not going to Lime Kiln next year? I am going to Hawthorne Christian Academy for school next year.

This summer I am planning to go to Washington D.C. for the summer. I am also going to the Dominican Republic. In the Dominican Republic My family and I stay in a hotel called Hamaca Coral. That hotel is located in Boca Chica. The Dominican Republic is fun. It's very hot, and the sun is always beaming on you. If you ever go there, be sure to pack brightly colored clothes. For the summer we're also going to have a birthday party for my brother, Jomar, on July 21. This summer will be fun.

I can't wait until summer because I am going to Puerto Rico with my family. There are beaches there. If enjoy it there, I hope to go there again. My mom told me that there is something that we ride on to get to the other beach. You can probably go shopping for jewelry. I'm scared because everyone there talks Spanish and I don't understand it yet. Maybe before we go to Puerto Rico my mom or grandma will teach me Spanish. I hope! There are lots of lizards there and they are humungous. We have to watch out for them. I think the temperature goes up to 100 degrees. Well, I hope you have fun!

On the first day of summer I will be going to NJ to see my grandma and grandpa for a few days. This summer, as you know, I will be going to Florida for six weeks. I will be going to Sea World and I will swim with dolphins. I will be turning 10 this summer. I'm going to Build-a-Bear Workshop with some friends and family for a birthday party. My dad said he would work on math with me and we can go to the book store and get some books to read. So I can stay as smart as I can be this summer. When I come back from Florida my family will rent a house by the beach. In fact the house is so close to the beach our backyard is the beach! We will rent that house for a week. My step dad even said we will have a week of fun.
